Arsenal FC target Ryan Bertrand is set to join Premier League rivals Leicester City in the summer.
The Mikel Arteta side was interested in the player who will be a free agent in June with the club having been keen to boost their left-back position.
FootballInsider now reports that the Englishman who has been at St Mary’s for seven years where he made over 200 appearances will be moving to the King power after agreeing on a deal with the Brendan Rodgers side.
Arsenal only has Kieran Tierney as the only natural left-back at the club after allowing Sead Kolasinac to leave on loan to Schalke 04 in the last transfer window; the player said not to have a future at the club.
The Gunners are expected to sign a new left-back in the summer with Bertrand having been one of their targets for the position. With their transfer budget being unclear, having the former Chelsea man on a free transfer would have been some good business for the London club but the move by Leicester would mean that won't take place now.
