Manchester United will be making a fourth attempt to sign Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho in the summer.
Sancho was a target for United last summer but a deal didn’t go through with United have made a low-key approach on the play this time.
The Daily Express reports that United is aiming to land the England international in the coming weeks with the player said to be keen on returning to England.
United attempted to bring Sancho to Old Trafford again in 2019, only for their failure to secure Champions League qualification to count against them with Dortmund said to have complicated the transfer further by asking for £108million for the player.
The English giants are in the market for a right-winger and put Sancho as a top priority for them in the coming window although they have been linked with a series of players more so in defence.
Manchester United aren't anticipating making a move for Harry Kane this summer, preferring to target Jadon Sancho and waiting until next year to try and sign Erling Haaland. (Source: Mail on Sunday) pic.twitter.com/y6O99nE00K— Transfer News Live (@DeadlineDayLive) May 30, 2021
