Premier League rivals and teammates set for Euro 2020 duels

With 117 Premier League stars set to feature in the EURO 2020, expect to see battles between teammates as well as rivals battling each other.

Turkey play Italy in the opening match, with Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu potentially facing Chelsea's Jorginho, just like it was in the FA Cup final that the former won.

Wales v Switzerland on Saturday could see Arsenal's Granit Xhaka face Tottenham Hotspur duo Ben Davies and Joe Rodon.

In another match on Saturday, newly promoted Norwich City's starman Teemu Pukki could face a familiar face in Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel in Finland vs Denmark match.

Brentford's Danish duo Mathias Jensen and Christian Norgaard could also come up against teammate Marcus Forss.

Chelsea midfielders Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic could also do battle on Sunday when England face Croatia at Wembley Stadium, while West Ham United pair Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal look set to line up against a host of Premier League players including Andy Robertson and Scott McTominay when they play Scotland on Monday.

It will be an all-manchester affair later on Sunday when Man United's Victor Lindelof faces Ferran Torres in Spain vs Sweden clash.

Group F is arguably the group of death with the likes of Hugo Lloris, N'Golo Kante, and Paul Pogba potentially battling Ilkay Gundogan and Timo Werner.

The group also has defending champions, Portugal, which boasts Premier League stars such as Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias, and Diogo Joto.
