Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier is desperate to return to the Premier League.
The right-back has strongly been linked with a move to Manchester United having enjoyed the last two seasons in Laliga with Atletico Madrid.
The Telegraph reports that the 30-year-old has his heart set on a return to his homeland and would hope that some of his suitors can match the asking price put by his club.
Manchester United withdrew their interest in Trippier after balking at Atletico's valuation of £30m for the 30-year-old but the player is confident that a deal can be reached this summer with his family said to be huge supporters of the Red Devils.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants an experienced right-back to challenge Aaron Wan-Bissaka who is said to have relaxed due to lack of proper competition in the position.
28 - Across the 2018 World Cup and EURO 2020 combined, Kieran Trippier has created more chances than any other defender (28). Overall, only Kevin De Bruyne (36) has created more than him between the two tournaments. Reliable. #ENG #EURO2020 pic.twitter.com/UM0aMtMyJ4— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) July 11, 2021
