Premier League clubs are ready to hijack Jules Kounde's imminent move to Chelsea.
The Frenchman has strongly been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge with Kurt Zouma headed in the opposite direction.
While Sevilla is keen to allow the player to leave for Chelsea, Goal.com’s Chelsea correspondent, Nizaar Kinsella, noted in a tweet on Thursday afternoon, things might not be as easy as they first appeared.
According to Kinsella, there’s still a lot of work to be done on the transfer, and the Premier League vultures are circling and waiting to pounce and hijack any deal that might be in place between Sevilla and Chelsea.
The deal in the deal has been with the fact that Sevilla is keen to sign former Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng and might want full money for Kounde instead of Zouma plus money.
