Three English Championship bets to place ahead of Saturday's action

Here's your three-teams multi ahead of this weekend's EFL Championship matches!

Huddersfield vs Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest has won three of Huddersfield's last four home league games, and each of those victories has been by a single goal: 2-1 in 2016-17 and 2019-20, and 1-0 last season.

Forest has lost six of their first seven games of the season, and they haven't won in their last 13 league games. As a result, we're going with a 2-1 correct score prediction and a home win.

✅ TIP: Huddersfield to Win at FT

Derby vs Stoke City

The situation is unlikely to improve for the Pride Park faithful this weekend, with the match against Stoke City set to be a dreary affair. For Wayne Rooney's Rams, it's all about getting back to basics; they've kept as many clean sheets in their last five (3) games as they had in their previous 22 league games.

In the meantime, Stoke City has failed to score in their last three league away meetings against Derby. The Potters, on the other hand, don't have the worst record against Derby, having only lost once in eight games.

Derby has only scored four goals in their first seven games, while Stoke has failed to score in two of their last three, so we're going with under 2.5 goals and a 0-0 correct score prediction.

✅ TIP: Under 2.5 Match Goals

Preston vs West Brom

With four wins and three draws in the league, West Brom are unbeaten, but they have had to settle for a point in each of their last two games.

Both of those stalemates, though, have occurred at the Hawthorns, and Albion have now won their previous two away games. Preston have won their past two home games, albeit against mediocre Peterborough and Swansea teams, respectively, and their opponents on Saturday are a step up in class.

Despite Preston's recent comeback, West Brom's victory stands out. The Baggies have been inefficient in attack recently, so they won't run away with it, but they have three clean sheets in their last five games, so a 1-0 win for the visitors appears to be a possibility.
