🔴 Sherwood on why Ronaldo will be a Man United manager

Popular Sky Sports pundit and former coach Tim Sherwood has envisioned Cristiano Ronaldo as a future Manchester United manager.

Sherwood believes that the Portuguese icon could become what the likes of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard are to Chelsea and Liverpool, though the latter is yet to take charge of the Reds.

Based on how Ronaldo has been actively communicating with senior players since his return to United, Sherwood believes it is the mark of a manager in waiting.

"This guy is going to play for as long as his legs take him, then he's going to be the manager, I'm convinced of it," Sherwood said to the Premier League's live channel.

"He will definitely manage and I can see him being the manager of Manchester United, I certainly can.

"I think he'll bring a very experienced coach in with him and he'll end up sitting in that manager's seat. I'm convinced that he's come back for a reason," the former Spurs boss said.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is expected to take a break from match place as United take on West Ham United in the EFL Cup this week.
