Borussia Dortmund’s Chief Executive Hans-Joachin Watzke is finding it hard to live with Jadon Sancho’s slow start in England.
The English star became a wanted man after making his name at Dortmund before Manchester United snatched him on a deal worth £73m.
But things have not gone as expected so far. The winger only got a substitute appearance against West Ham before sitting on the bench for the whole game against Aston Villa last weekend.
Dortmund’s big boss Watzke has since come out to share his views on the situation…
“I love Jadon. When you see him playing you get tears in your eyes,” he told SPORT1.
“It hurts my soul that he is given so little consideration. I think his problem is that he’s not set in the English national team,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Sancho could return to the line up as United take on Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League midweek.
