Barcelona has received scary news ahead of the El Clasico with defender Ronald Araujo returning to the club from international duty earlier than planned.
The Catalans confirmed on Tuesday that the centre-back had travelled back to Camp Nou with a muscle injury he picked for Uruguay in their Sunday evening loss to Argentina.
Although there has been no confirmed date for his return, reports in Spain suggest that he is likely to miss El Clásico in 11 days' time.
The news will be a dent to Barcelona who are doing all they can to have their best players available. The Ronald Koeman side are currently placed ninth on the Laliga log with 12 points after seven games; five points below leaders and rivals Real Madrid who they meet on Sunday, October 24.
