Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez has been sentenced to six months in prison for disobeying a restraining order.
Hernandez was convicted of domestic violence against his wife in 2017 and now the Munich defender has been sentenced in prison for six months after disobeying the restraining order. According to a court document released today, the Frenchman had been denied an appeal by criminal court in Madrid against a previous suspended prison sentence for defying the restraining order.
The 25-year-old has been ordered to attend court in Madrid on Oct. 19, from which he has 10 days to voluntarily enter prison.
Hernandez was arrested in June 2017 for defying the restraining order after landing in Madrid along with his wife following their marriage and honeymoon.
