🦊 🔴 Early team news for Leicester vs Man United

Leicester City will host Manchester United when the Premier League returns on Saturday afternoon.

The Foxes have won just once in their last five games, losing two and drawing two in their last four.

Leicester are however unbeaten in their last three competitive clashes with the Red Devils, but Ole Gunnar Solskjær and company will count on the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphaël Varane, and Jadon Sancho to change this.

Ahead of the clash at the King Power Stadium, we look at what's the status of both teams, who's available, who's not.

The Red Devils will miss a few key players, starting with Raphael Varane, who is expected to be out for a few weeks after picking an injury while on international duty with France.

Captain Harry Maguire is also doubtful, having missed the last two games through injury, which he picked against Aston Villa on 25 September.

Fred and Edinson Cavani could also be missing for the clash at King Power since they will feature for Brazil and Uruguay respectively in a World Cup qualifier match set for Friday morning.

Upfront, United could welcome Marcus Rashford back into the fold after recovering from surgery.

The striker last featured for United in May, during the UEFA Europa League final, but has been in full training the past few weeks.

Young Ivorian winger Amad Traore is also fully fit and ready to roar once again.

🦊 Leicester

The Foxes will definitely miss the services of Wesley Fofana and James Justin, who are both long-term absentees through injury.

Wilfred Ndidi is also a major doubt having picked a thigh injury in Leicester's 2-2 draw against Burnley on 25 September.

Coach Brendan Rodgers said he expected the hard-tackling midfielder to be out for between 4-5 weeks meaning he might not be ready for the clash.

Ex-United Jonny Evans recently withdrew from the Northern Ireland squad with a foot injury and illness but has a chance of making the team on Saturday.
