English Premier League side Watford have confirmed Maduka Okoye as the club’s new footballer.
The 22-year-old was announced by Claudio Ranieri's side on Monday 8 November, which makes him the fourth Nigerian at Vicarage Road.
The goalie joins the English side o a five-and-a-half-year deal from Eredivisie’s Sparta Rotterdam.
“Watford FC is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement to sign highly-rated young goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, on a five-and-a-half-year deal that will begin on January 1, 2022,” read a statement on the club’s website.
Meanwhile, Okoye will remain with his Dutch club until the January transfer window.
