Divock Origi on West Ham radar

West Ham United might move to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi in January.

The Belgian, whose current contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of this campaign wants more game time so as to improve his national team chances ahead of the summer World Cup and according to the Sun, the Hammers might be his next destination.

The 26-year-old has proven himself to be a valuable contributor in the games he has started as he is averaging 2.5 shots, 1.5 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per game in the League Cup. He has even been tidy with his ball distribution after completing 88.5% of his attempted passes in domestic cup football as proved by stats from whoscored.

The impressive outlook however hasn't been considered by manager Jurgen Klopp who has always placed the player on the bench with Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota all above Origi in the pecking order.

Origi has banged in three goals and secured two assists in seven matches for the Reds so far in this campaign on all fronts and believes that he can do better with more game time which has been hard to come by at Anfield.
