There are five Premier League matches today, and here are the results from the 6pm (EAT) matches.
- Liverpool 4-0 Southampton
The Reds dominated Southampton to earn three vital Premier League points, with Diogo Jota scoring twice in the first half and Thiago and Virgil van Dijk scoring the other goals. With this win, the Reds move to the 2nd spot on the log with 28 points, just a point from the Blues who play Manchester United on Sunday.
- Norwich City 0-0 Wolves
Dean Smith's second match in charge was not short of action in front of goal, much as it lacked goals. Wolves enjoyed lots of possession but struggled to generate anything noteworthy, though Tim Krul did have to save a low attempt from Joao Moutinho after Grant Hanley's back pass had placed the hosts in trouble. Norwich's unbeaten run now stands at three games, bringing them within two points of safety. Wolves, on the other hand, remain in sixth place.
- Crystal Palace 1-2 Aston Villa
Despite a late Marc Guehi goal in stoppage time, Crystal Palace's perfect home record in the Premier League came to an end against Aston Villa. Matt Targett and John McGinn scored for Steven Gerrard's side who are now 11th on the table, with 16 points.
