Jack Wilshere set for Wrexham move

National League One side Wrexham is interested in signing former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Wilshere has been plagued by injuries in his career and has found it hard to get a club despite having been training with Arsenal but the search could finally be over if reports from Football Insider are anything to go by.

Insider claims that Wrexham is on the verge of offering the playmaker a contract as the player bids to make a comeback to active football.

Wilshere left Arsenal in 2016 to join AFC Bournemouth. He played 17 times as the Cherries fell short at the Championship play-off semi-final stage last term in what was his second spell at the club; the player having been part of the West Ham team from 2018 to 2020.

Wilshere is also thought to be doing his coaching badges and was pictured on the bench during Arsenal's under-21s' EFL Trophy game with Ipswich last week.
