Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, and Harry Maguire should all be available for Manchester United's Premier League clash with Aston Villa, according to Ralf Rangnick.
The match takes place just five days after the two sides met in the FA Cup, with Man United winning 1-0. Rangnick is hopeful that the aforementioned trio, as well as Phil Jones, will be ready to return this weekend.
"I think they will be available," Rangnick told the press.
"They only trained yesterday for the first time. Cristiano yesterday, Harry the day before yesterday. We have to wait for the final session this afternoon but as it seems right now they should be available for tomorrow [Saturday]."
This rebuts claims this morning that Ronaldo would miss the game due to a forced early departure from training. The forward has been dealing with a hip issue of late, which was previously stated to be a separate issue.
Sancho, meanwhile, has been sidelined by musculoskeletal injuries. This was the latest setback in an otherwise disappointing start to life at Old Trafford following his summer move from Borussia Dortmund.
The England international has scored twice in 22 appearances this season and will be hoping to improve his tally against Villa this weekend if selected.
Maguire may also return to the fold and will almost certainly be thrown straight back into the starting XI if he is declared fit to play. United's captain has been sidelined with a chest injury.
Rangnick will receive a significant boost from the trio's return to contention ahead of what will be a pivotal game. United are seventh in the Premier League, six points behind fourth-placed West Ham but with a game in hand.
