Manchester United’s Anthony Martial has responded to Ralf Rangnick’s claim that the Frenchman refused to be part of the squad for their clash against Aston Villa last weekend.
As reported by Futaa several weeks ago, Martial made it clear he wants to walk out the exit door at Man United.
So why was Martial missing last weekend? Rangnick said he declined to be with the team.
"He didn't want to be in the squad," the German tactician said in a post-match interview.
Martial, presumably dismayed, took to social medial to dispel the claim.
"I will never refuse to play a match for Man United," the Frenchman wrote on Instagram.
"I've been here for seven years and I never disrespected and never will disrespect the club and the fans."
Meanwhile, United are focused on the trip to Brentford on Wednesday.
