In the 25th minute, Ghana were reduced to ten men as Andre Ayew was sent off after catching Boina on the face. This happened after a quick VAR check with Boina being subbed off as he could not continue.

In the 62nd minute, Ghana conceded the second after Comoros' brilliant cross into the box that was met by Ahmed Mogni, twisted and turned before unleashing a hard shot into the back of the net.

Ghana pulled one back through Ahmed Mogni who headed in to give his side a lifeline in the game.

With 15 minutes remaining, Ghana were on level terms and the ten men were not giving up. Partey flicked the corner on and Dijiku had a tap in at the back post.

Five minutes to stoppage time, Ghana restored their lead through Ahmed Mogni who grabbed his second of the game.

Ghana finishes bottom of the group and crash out of the group stages while Morocco are at the top of the table with seven points while Morocco secures a spot after claiming the second position.
