These are the things we love to see. Comoros defender Chaker Alhadhur delivered one of the best goalkeeping moments of AFCON 2021 against Cameroon on Monday night. The guy is a left-back.
As you might have seen in the match, Comoros found themselves in a situation where all three of their goalkeepers missed out due to COVID-19 - and for the nation’s biggest game in its history.
The team’s left-back Alhadhur then volunteered to take the responsibility in goal as he played in the 2-1 loss.
But despite conceding twice, his performance was lauded on social media, especially after an impressive double save in the second-half.

Meanwhile, the biggest game of the last 16 round will see Ivory Coast take on Egypt on Wednesday night.
