Europa Conference League play-offs: Leicester, Marseille and PSV glide on, Celtic dumped out

English side Leicester City comfortably made the Europa Conference League knockout round following their 3-1 win over FC Randers in Thursday night's second leg.

The Foxes won the first leg 4-1 last week, and were in cruise control going into the match in Denmark.

James Maddison's spectacular double set Brendan Rodgers' men on the path to victory, having taken a second-minute lead through Harvey Barnes.

In another match, Bodø/Glimt's European adventure continued after they finished the job they began so well last week in Glasgow.

Ola Solbakken scored after just nine minutes to put them in control of the tie before Hugo Vetlesen sealed the win after the break.

The win gave them a 5-1 aggregate victory, and they will remain one of the dark horses going into the last 16.

Elsewhere, French side Marseille were at their very best as they saw off Qarabag 3-0 to book a place in the last 16.

There were wins also for Partizan Belgrade and Vitesse, who put their poor run in recent weeks to sail through.

Here are all the night's results

  • Vitesse 2-0 Rapid Wien (agg: 3-2)
  • PAOK 2-1 Midtjylland (agg: 2-1, PAOK win 5-3 on pens)
