Gor Mahia suffered a shock 2-0 defeat at the hands of Kenya Police in a Kenyan Premier Legue match played on Sunday afternoon.
It was the first time Police have won against the former champions, losing six and drawing once in their seven encounters.
Former K'Ogalo star Francis Kahata came back to haunt the boys in green, scoring Police's opener after just 10 minutes.
Clinton Kinanga then wrapped up the win three minutes from time to halt their recent poor run that included two losses and a similar number of draws.
The loss means K'Ogalo have won just once in their last five outings, falling further in the title race as they remain 11 points off league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz.
In another match, Bandari ensured Homeboyz's recent winning run came to a halt in Mombasa with a 2-1 success.
The clash at the coastal town seemed to be headed for a scoreless first half until Kevin Kimani curled in a beautiful freekick beyond the goalkeeper.
William Wadri then made it 2-0 midway through the second half, before Sylvester Owino got a consolation for the visitors.
This was Bandari's second win in a row, taking them sixth on 34 points.
At the Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi, AFC Leopards and Sofapaka played out an entertaining 1-1 draw.
Lawrence Juma gave Sofapaka the lead in the 20th minute, but Dan Musamali ensured the points were shared with an equaliser just before the break.
