SoNy Sugar coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno has said that there will be no radical changes made in the club's playing unit.

Zico was appointed the club's new coach on Thursday 22 December 2011, taking over from Francis Baraza who had earlier been suspended from duty.

He will take over the club once his contract with Gor Mahia expires in late January 2012 and has promised to lead the club to a position of power in the Kenyan Premier League.

With a new coach at the club, changes were said to be on the horizon, but Zico is not edging in that direction.

No rash changes

-I will not make changes to the playing unit. The majority of players and coaching staff at the club will remain.

-As a coach, I believe in giving everyone a chance and a fair one at that. Everyone has to prove what they can do before you make a terminal decision.

-If any changes will be made, they will be small, he told

SoNy have already lost captain David Otieno and midfielder Frederick Onyango. Both players had run down their respective contracts at the club.
