Arsenal’s midfielder Joe Willock is happy to have achieved his dream of playing for the senior team.

Willock was on a brace as Arsenal dumped Blackpool 3-0 in the FA Cup tie, the teenager feels that his hard work is paying right now and hopes to grab the opportunities that Unai Emery will grant him.

“It was one of my aims at the start of the season to push on and try to get in the box more and get a few more goals and help the team so yes all the hard work is paying off. I have always wanted to push on and play more in the Premier League but I know I am just going to have to be patient. It is going well for me and hopefully, I’m showing what I can do when I get the opportunities.” Willock told Daily Star.

Willock has two other brothers, Matt, 22, and Chris, 20, and are all English internationals and the teenager reveals that they always want each of them to have the best of careers. All were at one point in Arsenal's books before.

“Obviously we all want each other to do well and we are always pushing each other on. When we were young we all had a dream together and we are just trying to fulfil it and also repay mum and dad for all the sacrifices they made to get us to this point.” the midfielder concluded.

Arsenal progressed to the fourth round of the tournament with Alex Iwobi’s late second-half goal sealing the victory.
