Manchester United have officially announced that Ro-Shaun Williams has joined Shrewsbury Town on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee. 

An England youth international, who had been with United for eleven years has inked a two-and-a-half year deal with the League One club. 
 
The 20-year-old joined Manchester United at the age of nine and has been described as a player with leadership qualities having captained United's U23 side several times during the 2018/19 season. 
 
In his first interview, Williams told Shrewsbury Town's official website: ''All my time has been spent at United so far, I’ve gone through the academies growing up but it’s been a time for me to get out and make a professional career for myself."

''I’ve had some good away times with England as well, I’ve been to the World Cup at U17s, qualified for the Euro’s for the U19s, so that’s been great for my development as a player.''
 
Williams has featured for England at U16, U17, U18 and U19 level respectively.
