Mamelodi Sundowns forward Themba Zwane has revealed that he is more self-assured when playing in the CAF Champions League.

The 29-year-old has been the most-talked-about footballer in South Africa this week after ‘skating like Iniesta’ in Saturday’s 5-0 bashing of Al Ahly.

"I think my confidence is high whenever we play in the CAF Champions League,” Zwane told Kick Off today.

“But for me, I must do more because normally I get three or four chances but only manage to get one.

"I feel for me I must get two or three goals [in a match]."

"I need to take responsibility. Obviously, I am a senior player now, I need to take charge whenever I am on the field of play and try to help Hlompho [Kekana]," concluded Zwane.

Meanwhile, Sundowns have landed in Egypt ahead of Saturday’s quarter-final second leg against Al Ahly. Kabo Yellow need just to avoid losing 6-0 to make the semi-finals.
