Zambian striker Mwape Musonda emerged as the Golden Boot winner in the Absa Premiership after the conclusion of the season.
The 28 year old bagged the prestigious Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot thanks to his 16 goals in 28 league appearances for Black Leopards helping them to survive relegation.
It was almost a one man race for the former Zanaco striker who had almost scored twice as many goals as Bloemfontein Celtic striker Tshegofatso Mabaso in second place with nine strikes.
Musonda joins the likes of Chipolopolo legends like Collins Mbesuma and Christopher Katongo among others who have have won the golden boot in the PSL . It is his second golden boot in two years, He bagged the NFD golden boot last year thanks to his 14 strikes to help Black Leopards win promotion.
