Arsenal head of football Raul Sanllehi has revealed the club has already started summer recruitment plans in a bid to convince targets to join the north London side.

The club is keen to replace Danny Welbeck, Petr Cech and Aaron Ramsey with the stars set to leave in the summer. Sanllehi says the club have enough “ammunition” to convince targets to join as they target to challenge for the title next season.

“What I can tell you is that we have identified very clearly and unanimously with our head coach and technical people, we know what we want to prioritize and we’re very clear on what our priorities are,” Sanllehi said.

“We’re already in the market and we’re already talking with the people that can help us to cover those positions and I feel quite strong. It’s going well and the image that Arsenal has in the football world is very strong.

“I do believe that we have a very good plan to cover those positions to be much stronger next year, to deliver the success that we’re all hoping for.”

The north London side, which failed to qualify for the Champions League in the coming season have a chance of booking a spot, should they beat Chelsea in the Europa League final next week on Wednesday 29th.
