Breaking: Dylan Kerr resigns after saving Black Leopards

Black Leopards head coach Dylan Kerr has resigned from the Absa Premiership club.

The news come rather as a shock. Kerr is fresh from leading the club to a relegation escape after Leopards won promotion from the National First Division last term.

After partings ways with the previous coach very early in the season, Kerr took charge of 21 games that resulted in six wins, six draws and nine losses. The club finished three points above the drop zone - on the final day of the season.

Club boss David Thidiela verified the news to local media this evening.

“Yes, he has sent his resignation letter but as a team we are closed for the season now but we will sit down and release an official statement on the way forward,” Thidiela told Lim Sports Zone this evening.
