Chelsea have been thrown into a state of panic once again after Ngolo Kante suffered another injury setback in training on Saturday.
The Frenchman was on the road to recovery and manager Maurizio Sarri was optimistic to have him ready for the Europa League finals, but he is a major doubt now after the latest setback.
He had fully recovered from injury and joined his teammates in training, with Sarri saying he was optimistic the World Cup winner could at least take part in the finals.
His latest setback adds to Sarri's worries, who is already without some of the club's key players, as they still recover from injuries.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is out for the season and so is Antonio Rudiger, after the two suffered season-ending injuries, while Jorginho is said to have also suffered a minor injury in training.
The team will also miss Loftus-Cheek, who's season ended during a friendly match between the club and All-England Stars in United States last week.
Sarri now faces the challenges of being with few midfield selections as he takes on Arsenal in the finals at the Olympic Stadium in Baku on May 29th.
