Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly interested in signing Derby right-back Jayden Bogle and Portsmouth centre-back Matt Clarke according to Sky Sports News.
The 18-year-old Bogle featured for the Rams under Frank Lampard during their Sky Bet Championship playoff this season while Clarke enjoyed a successful campaign in League One for Pompey.
Bogle is tipped to meet the criteria for Brighton as he is quick, young and home-grown but there are growing concerns about his lack of experience, having made 40 appearances in senior football thus far.
The 22-year-old Matt Clarke is another up-and-coming player who Portsmouth may struggle to keep him following their unsuccessful playoff season, with Championship sides Leeds and Stoke also said to be in contention to sign him.
If Brighton were to sign Clarke, it is understood they will still fight to keep hold of their current centre-back pairing of Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy amid reported interest from other Premier League sides.
As well as a right-back and centre-back, a new striker is also thought to be high on Brighton's wanted list as well as a box-to-box midfielder and a winger.
