Zambia Women national team captain Misozi Zulu has arrived in Kazakhstan to join her new club BIIK-Kazygurt. Misozi left Zambia on Tuesday morning.
The Indeni Roses forward has linked up with former Indeni teammate Rachel Kundananji who joined the club back in February.
Zulu clinched a five-month loan deal with the Kazakhstan Champions with an option to buy outright if she impresses ahead of renegotiations scheduled for December.
The Kazakhstan Champions want to use the Copper Queen’s Skipper for their UEFA women’s playoffs and have registered her already. Zulu has been offered an initial starting salary of $1500 USD but re-negotiate in December if she impresses.
BIIK were drawn in group 6 of the 2019/20 UEFA Women’s Champions League alongside hosts Flora Tallinn of Estonia, PK-35 Vantaa of Finland and EBS/Skála of the Faroe Islands.
