Kambole bags hattrick at Zesco award gala

New Kaizer Chiefs acquisition Lazarus Kambole bagged a hattrick during Friday's  Zesco United awards gala winning player of the year, Players player of the year and most disciplined.

Kambole was a very influential member of the Zesco United set up helping them to a double (League title and ABSA cup). The former Konkola Mine Police forward scored 16 goals in all competitions for team ya Ziko.

Kenyan midfielder Anthony Akumu was voted as the most improved player ahead of Dioudinne Nthibahezwa and Marcel Kalonda. Kalonda was named most consistent player ahead of Lazarus Kambole and Clement Mwape.

Midfielder John Ching'andu was named as the most valuable player with Jesse Were walking away with the top goalscorer award while coach George Lwandamina received the Chairman's award.
