Real Madrid's Bale scores against Arsenal but Zidane is not moved

Gareth Bale came off the bench at half time to score for Real Madrid as they played out a 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the end of regulation time.

Real Madrid won the International Champions Cup match on penalties.

Bale, who was said to have refused playing an earlier game against Bayern Munich, put up a good performance against Arsenal but manager Zinedine Zidane insists nothing has changed as the player is likely to leave.

"He put in a good performance and I'm pleased for him." but "Nothing has changed, you know the situation." Zidane said as reported by BBC.

"He played today, he wanted to and he did a good job.

"He wanted to be with us today; he trained normally and played the match. I make the decisions and he played one half. We'll have to see what happens. He's still here with us at this stage."

Bale has been linked with a move away from Madrid, including a possible move to the Chinese Super League with a reported £1m a week wage.
