Monaco wades in for Nigerian winger Onyekuru

French club Monaco have reportedly waded in as they look to sign Nigerian winger Henry Onyekuru.

Onyekuru joined English Premier League club Everton in 2017 and has been loaned for two seasons to Anderlecht and Galatasaray.

While Galatasaray are hoping to keep the Super Eagles forward on loan for another season, Monaco have waded in as they look to boost their front line.

A Punch report says Monaco are in talks to sign the Everton winger as Marco Silva continues his rebuilding process at Goodison Park ahead of the new season.

Onyekuru was denied work permit in Engalnd and this development will now force him on another loan away from parent club Everton.

The 22-year-old won bronze with the Super Eagles at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
