Premier League side Watford has confirmed the signing of former Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck on a free transfer.
The England international was released by the Gunners at the end of the season after his contract expired and has been without a club since. And now the former Manchester United ace has now joined the Hornets after undergoing a medical yesterday. The forward has penned a three-year deal at Vicarage Road.
Watford wanted to sign him and felt Arsenal’s £8m valuation of Welbeck was too much for a striker who was struggling to prove his fitness.
