Eddie Nketiah leaves Arsenal for Leeds United

Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has joined Leeds United on a season-long loan for the new 2019/20 season. 

The young forward has impressed for the club in the preseason, scoring twice against Fiorentina and the winner in Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich.

Nketiah will now replace Kemar Roofe - who is has joined Anderlecht - and is expected to be given a key role in United's attack this season.

 

 

The 20-year-old, who is Arsenal's academy product has one goal in five Premier League appearances for the senior team having made his debut against BATE Borisov in the Europa League in 2017.
