Nigerian winger Henry Onyekuru has penned a farewell message after joining AS Monaco from English Premier League club Everton on Monday.
Onyekuru sealed a five-year permanent move away from Everton after spending two seasons on loan to Anderlecht and Galatasaray.
“I want to thank @everton for the opportunity and making it possible for me to experience the best year of my career at @galatasaray.
"My time in Turkey was nothing short of amazing! The supporters, the club and my teammates made me feel at home from Day 1! We made history Thank U,” reads a tweet on Onyekuru’s Twitter handle.
He has been capped by Nigeria 11 times in the past two years, featuring in the Super Eagles' 2019 Africa Cup of Nations campaign where Nigeria finished third.
