Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray have reportedly announced that Nigeria U23 international Valentine Ozornwafor has been shipped out on loan to Spanish Segunda side UD Almeria for the rest of the 2019/20 season.
Before playing for Galatasaray, Ozornwafor was playing for Nigerian club Enyimba and now he has been loaned as the Turkish side wants him to further his development.
Fellow players of Nigerian descent, midfielder Ramon Azeez and striker Kalu Uche have also had their fair share of playing for Almeria.
The 20-year-old was part of Galatasaray's preseason friendlies against RB Leipzig, Augsburg and Bordeaux but was left out of the matchday squad of the season opener against Denizlispor.
Ozornwafor featured in five matches for the Flying Eagles when they participated in the 2019 U20 Africa Cup of Nations where he earned himself two caps from head coach Paul Aigbogun.
