Tom Dele-Bashiru was awarded his maiden debut for Watford on Tuesday, August 27 evening at Vicarage Road.
Dele-Bashiru was introduced in the 72nd minute where he came on to replace Ismaila Sarr as they secured a 3-0 victory over Coventry City - this advances the Hornets to the third round of the Carabao Cup.
His only senior appearance before last night's game was in this same competition, against Leicester City back in the 2017/18 season.
The 19-year-old was previously playing for Manchester City before he was signed by Watford during the summer transfer window.
Isaac Success also had a successful night at the office where he made his first appearance of the 2019/20 season and involved himself in two assists.
Sarr found the back of the net in the 37th minute after a ball from the Super Eagles striker and it became 2-0 ten minutes after the restart when Daryl Janmaat scored after he was set up by Success.
In the closing minutes, Dele-Bashiru almost made it 4-0 but dragged his effort wide of the post after he was played in by Success.
