Nigeria international forward Alex Iwobi scored his debut goal for Everton as he inspired them to third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
Manager Marco Silva handed Iwobi his maiden debut for the Toffees when they secured a 4-2 victory over League One club Lincoln City.
The 23-year-old found the back of the net in the 81st minute - Theo Walcott came on to replace him afterwards and Richarlison went on to score the winner in the 88th minute as reported by Goal.
“I am so happy and there are more memories to come,” Iwobi told the club website.
“It was a difficult game and we have to give credit to Lincoln. But the most important thing is we are through to the next round.
“We showed we have that fighting spirit, and that’s good to see.”
