Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse has been called up to replace Darren Keet in the Bafana Bafana squad.
Safa revealed on Monday that the former Bidvest Wits keeper will not be part of the squad that will take on Zambia in an international friendly.
The football administration also confirmed that Keet is not able to play due to still finalising his work permit in Belgium where he recently moved.
Head coach Molefi Ntseki has brought in Pieterse together with Ronwen Williams and Brandon Petersen for a spot to take control of the box.
Bafana are set to depart to Zambia on Thursday and this will be a test for Ntseki who will hope to come off with a win at the helm of the national team.
