Another Super Eagles player pulls out, but Musa cleared for Ukraine friendly

The number of Super Eagles players pulling out of the international friendly against Ukraine continues to increase with the latest being Monaco winger Henry Onyekuru.

Already, Kenneth Omeruo, Wilfred Ndidi and Tyronne Ebuehi have all withdrawn from the match scheduled for Tuesday, with Bryan Idowu, Anderson Esiti and Josh Maja called up as replacements.

Latest withdrawal, Onyekuru, will miss out due to work permit issues, according to Punch.

The former Everton player has since been replaced by Emmanuel Dennis.

However, captain Ahmed Musa has been cleared for the match against Ukraine despite picking up a knee injury in Al Nassr’s 1-0 away win at Al Fateh last Friday

“Unless something happens, Musa will play,” Toyin Ibitoye, Eagles media officer, told Punch.
