England moved to top of Group A of the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifies following a 4-0 win over Bulgaria with Harry Kane grabbing a hat-trick in the clash.
England broke the deadlock in the 24th minute when Bulgaria were trying to play the ball out for from the back, Bulgaria goalkeeper Plaman Iliev's delivery went wayward to Raheem Sterling. Advancing towards the byline, he pulled a diagonal ball into the path of Harry Kane who slotted home from six yards out.
England began the second half strongly and needed only four minutes after the restart to double their lead when Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot after Marcus Rashford had been brought down in the 18 yard area by Nikolay Bodurov.
Gareth Southgates men proved too strong for Bulgaria as they put the game beyond them when Raheem Sterling who has been in red hot form this season put the ball into the back of the with his knee after Harry Kane dinked the ball from the left side of the six yard box.
England made it four in the 73rd minute when Kane was brought down inside the box by substitute Dimitov and the Tottenham Hotspur skipper stepped up to take the penalty knocking the ball just past Iliev who guessed the right direction.
