English Premier League clubs reaped big in TV revenue after the list of the biggest earners in Europe was revealed with Everton receiving more than Real Madrid.
Liverpool tops the list after having an impressive year that saw them lift the Champions League and finish runners up in the Premier League last season. Incredibly the Anfield giants earned a whopping £152millon in TV money and are just one of two clubs to break the £150m barrier in Europe - City are the other team having notched £151m.
The research has been conducted by Swiss Ramble and details how Premier League clubs compared to their elite European rivals. Barcelona were the highest non-English club ranked at seventh with £130m just a place above Everton who earned more than Madrid.
If we rank clubs from the Big 5 leagues by revenue from their TV deals, the Premier League contributes 18 of the top 20 clubs with the only interlopers being Barcelona (7th place) and Real Madrid (10th). #LFC are highest in Europe with £152m. pic.twitter.com/aIjGfhurel— Swiss Ramble (@SwissRamble) September 3, 2019
