Following their 2-2 draw against Watford, Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka claimed that his teammates were "scared" as they let a two-goal advantage slip.
Arsenal were cruising in the first half after a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang following fine work from Mesut Ozil and Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Howlers from Sokratis and David Luiz enabled Watford to earn a point with goals from Tom Cleverly and Roberto Pereyra.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Xhaka revealed that the team was "scared", "We are very disappointed, we had a good first half and then we came out and played so bad in the second half. We knew they had nothing to lose and they would come for us but we didn't show our game, we were too scared, nobody wanted the ball.
"Every team in the Premier League is strong enough to score so you have to stay calm, be mentally strong and we weren't today."
