Odion Ighalo has returned to action for his Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua after two months on the sidelines.
However, it was a sad return for Ighalo who missed a penalty as Shanghai Shenhua suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Tianjin Teda in their Chinese Super League clash on Sunday.
Ighalo, who picked up an injury on international duty with Nigeria at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in July and had been out of action since then, took the place of Stephan El Shaarawy in the 55th minute.
The 30-year-old former Nigeria international earned a penalty when he was brought down inside the 18-yard box in the 82nd minute.
But his penalty was saved by Tianjin Teda goalkeeper Due Jia as he failed to score a consolation goal for Shenhua.
