Sokratis sends a message to Arsenal fans after gifting Watford a goal

After a howler that handed Watford a route back into the back, Sokratis Papastathopoulos has apologized to Arsenal fans following the 2-2 draw.

The Gunners tried to play the ball from the back as Bernd Leno passed to Sokratis but the Greek defender misplaced his pass allowing Gerard Deulofeu to intercept as Tom Cleverly finished to half the deficit. David Luiz conceded another penalty with Roberto Pereyra converting to earn Watford a point.

Sokratis took to Twitter to issue an apology to Arsenal fans, "Today’s result is not good for us. I feel responsible for this result, so I would like to apologise to all of you. I don’t like to hide, and I will keep working hard in order to achieve our goals."
