Newcastle United goalkeepers Martin Dubravka is reportedly set to sign a new contract any day from now according to Sky Sports News.
Dubravka's current contract with Newcastle is set to expire in 2022 and the club is reportedly keen on extending his deal for his exploits.
"We're in talks. I'm close," he said. "We are in contact and hopefully we can sort it out as soon as possible.
"I'm happy here so if I can stay longer here, I will be happy. Since I came here, people have treated me really well. I can say that I feel at home here.
"I'm glad that people think that I can stay here for the longer-term. It's such a big honour for me."
The Magpies showstopper is also the first choice for the Slovakia national and has been capped 16 times for his native country.
The 30-year-old has made approximately 55 appearances for the St James Park outfit and has kept 16 Premier League clean sheets this far.
