Jeremy Brockie has revealed getting good wishes and encouragement from Mamelodi Sundowns president Patrice Motsepe.
“Everyone was on the same page. I’m very grateful to the president of the club because he really understood my situation. I think he was gutted that things didn’t work out like he’d expected, like I’d expected, when I joined the club. He said he wants me to go and play football and start scoring goals again,” Brockie said via Soccer Laduma.
The 31-year-old New Zealander went on to reveal details of Motsepe’s message. The club president told Brockie that the club will follow the striker’s loan spell up to the end of the term.
“He sent me a really nice message after the deal was concluded and even said they look forward to watching me play for Maritzburg until the end of the season. I can’t thank the president enough for this move and I’m really grateful,” concluded Brockie.
