Absa Premiership side AmaZulu have signed a former Kaizer Chiefs player while Ajax Cape Town have signed an ex-Maritzburg United forward.
Following Mario Booysen’s two-week trial with Usuthu, a source close to the club has confirmed that the lanky 31-year-old defender has pen pen to paper.
"AmaZulu are set to unveil Booysen after reaching an agreement with the player. The deal is running up until the end of the season with the option to renew,” said the source to Kick Off.
Meanwhile, another source close to Ajax has revealed Mohau Mokate’s move. The former Mariztburg striker had been training with the Urban Warriors since late last month.
"Ajax have moved swiftly to sign Mohau Mokate. He has signed and will be unveiled soon,” said the source. The 28-year-old Mokate previously played for Orbit College.
Booysen will be counting his sixth PSL club. He has played for Maritzburg United, Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United, Bloemfontein Celtic, Ajax Cape Town and Kaizer Chiefs.
